Well, we're having a boy! I had my 17 week ultrasound on Wed, June 11 and the nurse said that she was "100% sure" about our little man. I say "little" but actually, he is quite large for his gestational age. He is in the 82nd percentile for growth, which means that if he continues on this track he'll weigh over 8 lbs at birth. I am completely terrified, and Ryan couldn't be happier.
My husband is completely ecstatic about his forthcoming son. Being the manly-man that he is, he's already planning outings to the ballpark and little league coaching meetings. Not that he'll miss out on any of that with Layla. Currently, her favorite pass-time is wrestling with Daddy. And not just light, girly wrestling; she has left him sore and bruised more than once.
We are both very excited about baby boy Hatch, who should join us sometime in mid-November.

Congratulations guys!!! That is so exciting! I'm so happy for you. The good news about having a girl and then a boy is there will be no fighting over clothes and toys. Well, not too many fights over toys.
