The other day Layla was trying desperately to renegotiate a bedtime deal predicated upon her good behavior that had been tragically absent that afternoon. She tirelessly presented new scenarios in which she would get whatever she wanted without doing anything. So Ryan asked her, "Do your mom and I look stupid?"
To which she replied, "No, mom doesn't look stupid, but you do."
