Yesterday while we were shopping at COSTCO, Layla casually said to me, "Mom, I want an iPod." I didn't know what to say, so I pulled up to the nearest sample cart and changed the subject. During dinner last night I told Layla to tell Daddy what she asked me for while we were at COSTCO. She said "Daddy, I want an iPod. And an iPhone."
"Layla, do you even know what an iPod does?" I asked.
"It sings," she replied.
Did we skip the whole Barbie, dolls and dress-up phase and go straight to tech gear???

The generation gap has completely disappeared. Who could have imagined that both 51 year old Grandma and 2 1/2 year old Grandaughter would have the same thing on their Christmas lists?
That is so adorable. Clearly she is way above her time, Smart Girl.
This is slightly terrifying.
