Today Layla and I were leaving the house to go Visiting Teaching. As usual, we walked out of the kitchen door into the garage, I pressed the garage door opener and proceeded to open both doors of the car so that Layla could climb in and I could put my stuff in the front seat. All of the sudden I heard a scream. I turned and saw Layla dangling from the top of the now open garage door, kicking her legs, screaming, "Mommy, I need help!"
I ran over and grabbed her and she let go and immediately started crying on my shoulder. She was obviously scared, and kept saying, "Mommy, I almost went up to the sky." I comforted her through audible laughter, wondering if I was a terrible mother for immediately seeing the humor in the situation.

Holy moly! That is SCARY, but so funny at the same time. I'm glad she's okay and had a fun (maybe) little ride.
That is so funny. I can only imagion you turning around to find your daughter hanging from the garage door. I used to do that when I was a kid... but I didnt start that young.
