TP

Our increasingly independent, newly potty-trained daughter informed us a few minutes ago that she had to go to the potty. She has gone by herself before, but she usually has one of us help her, so Ryan volunteered. She adamantly said, "No Daddy, I can do it all by myself. Shut the door!"

After a minute or two we heard her say, "Uh-oh..."

"What happened, honey?" Ryan asked.

"I got too much toilet paper; I can't wipe." And sure enough:

Oh funny! I am so proud of you all for potty training! I need inspiration :) Hopefully MJ will do it well, but I'm so nervous to do it before having a baby because EVERYONE says they revert back... ugh. Hopefully Layla will be an exception.

There are certain things that are irresistible and every child must try at least once. One of these is emptying an entire cereal box onto the floor. Another is to flush something down the toilet. And a third is unraveling an entire roll of toilet paper.

Come to think of it, I still have the occasional inclinations to do all three.
